Short answer: Incogni if you want the cheaper, hands-off option that sends requests to 420+ brokers (including private ones) and works across the UK and EU. DeleteMe if your main worry is US people-search listings and you want human privacy advisors, quarterly reports and household plans.
Incogni and DeleteMe both send removal requests to data brokers for you and keep repeating them. Incogni is automated and sends requests to a broad list of brokers, including private ones you'd never see in search results. DeleteMe is an annual service built around human privacy experts and US people-search sites. Here are the facts from each company's own pages.

The real difference
Incogni is about breadth. Most of its 420+ brokers are not people-search sites. They're companies that buy and sell data behind the scenes, and you'd never find them by Googling yourself. Requests to them repeat automatically. If you're in the UK or EU, that's the main kind of broker that applies to you anyway[4].
DeleteMe is about the listings people actually find. Its Standard plan covers the big US people-search sites, including Whitepages, TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch, Spokeo and BeenVerified. People handle it, and you get unlimited aliases and email or phone masking[6]. The PeopleConnect sites (Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate) are handled by custom request[7].

From each company's published site list, read Oct 2026. Optery lists each site under the cheapest plan that covers it, and higher plans include everything below them. DeleteMe marks sites in the Standard plan, business and VIP tiers, or "custom requests". Intelius, TruthFinder and Instant Checkmate all share the free PeopleConnect opt-out.
Incogni publishes its people-search list on its blog but doesn't break it down by plan, and we haven't cross-checked it site by site, so it isn't in this table.
Who should pick which
- Pick Incogni if you want the lower price, monthly billing, coverage of private brokers, a 5-person family plan, or you live outside the US.
- Pick DeleteMe if your worry is your home address on US people-search sites, you want a human involved, or you have several old names and emails to remove.
- Either way, do the PeopleConnect opt-out (covers Intelius, TruthFinder and Instant Checkmate) yourself. It's free and takes one form.
