Steps
- Check whether you're listed. Search whitepages.com for your name, city, and state. Note any listings that match you, including older addresses.
- Open the opt-out form. Go to Whitepages's opt-out page and fill in the form with the details that match your listing.
- Have your phone ready. This opt-out may verify you by phone, for example with an automated call and a short code.
- Check again later. Search for yourself again in a few days. Brokers often re-add people from new public records, so put a reminder on your calendar to check again in 6 months.

FAQ
Is it free to opt out of Whitepages?
Submitting an opt-out request yourself is normally free. You don't need to buy a report or a membership to ask for removal.
How long does it take?
It varies. Some sites remove a listing within a day or two, others take several weeks. Search again after a few days and again later.
Will my information come back?
It can. Brokers rebuild profiles from new public records, so plan to check again about every 6 months.
